It is over a year since the Board approved the formation of the CoP. Unfortunately progress has been slow due to the Convenor's illness but he is back in harness now and things are gathering pace.

There are two main things to report at this juncture. Firstly, we are beginning to forge links with the BCS and hope soon to be able to publish an article in their journal ITNOW. In addition, we believe that the Business Information Systems Specialist Group is the SG that most closely aligns with our aims and objectives. We have suggested that the CoP (in the form of the Convenor) should make a presentation to their members in the 2007-2008 programme that is currently being planned.

Secondly, perhaps more importantly, the CoP has been asked to take part in the ratification process for ISO8000 within the UK.
