Steve Tuck

Steve's career in IT spans more than 20 years, but his focus for the last 12 years has been Information and Data Quality. Starting in this field as a practitioner at Nationwide Building Society, Steve's experience includes time working for data quality software vendors and as a consultant.

Steve provided pre- and post-sales support to European clients of Trillium software in the early 1990s before being appointed as Trillium Divisional Director. He then worked as a specialist data quality consultant for NCR and Computer Sciences Corporation before joining data management specialists Kognitio as Product and Services Manager.

In 2002 Steve became an independent consultant and established the information quality consultancy Tranato. Steve has contributed to major information and data quality projects in the UK and mainland Europe for clients in a range of industries, including Financial Services, Energy, Telco, FMCG and Retail. He has also presented at several conferences. He is a charter member of the IAIDQ and has helped the association develop its strategic plans.

Steve joined Datanomic in June 2005 as Chief Strategy Officer. He is responsible for directing the development of Datanomic's data quality products and methodology.
